Harleston is the place to be this summer, where there are some lovely events on the horizon. The town has a vibrant arts community with many artists, writers, actors and musicians living in the area. The annual Harleston & Waveney Art Trail takes place over three weekends in the summer, with more than 30 professional artists opening their studios to the public. In addition to this are the three events below:
Harleston Open Gardens
3rd – 4th June | 11am – 4pm
Over 25 private gardens and allotments will open their gates to visitors, with some including plant sales, open studios, refreshments and fundraising activities. Admission is £3 for one adult or £5 for up to 5 people and further details can be found on our events list.
Harleston Antiques & Vintage Street Market
18th June | 9am – 3pm
A fantastic street market that fills the centre of town with over 70 stalls selling antiques and vintage furniture, clothes and collectibles. There will be displays of traditional rural crafts outside St John’s Church, plus street food and entertainment. Further details can be found on our events list.
Harleston Evening Street Party
18th June | 6.30 – 9.30pm
A family street party with performers and cafe-style seating. Plus Park Radio, street food and Pimms Tent. Further details can be found on our events list.
