Art Exhibition – Mike Webb
25 November –24 January
Diss Corn Hall
Mike Webb will be bringing a selection of his watercolours and cartoon style drawings to the Corn Hall in November. Those of you who know him from his work in the Diss Express will be surprised by the breadth of this exhibition; from humorous cartoon style paintings of familiar birds and animals to thought provoking watercolours of redundant sheds and barns. The pictures range in mood and scale and will be for sale on the opening night. Exhibition in the Main Gallery. Box Office Hours – Free
Located in the historic market town of Diss on the border of Norfolk and Suffolk, and at the gateway to the Waveney Valley, the Corn Hall is an impressive Grade II listed building which was originally built as a corn exchange.
The Corn Hall is now a thriving arts venue offering a wide range of quality entertainment. The Corn Hall’s popularity with audiences from across the region has resulted in it being shortlisted in the Norfolk Arts Awards People’s Choice Best Venue category for the last three years.
The Corn Hall is run by the Diss Corn Hall Trust which is a charity dedicated to the promotion of the performing arts.
The building has now reopened following an expensive refurbishment.
The Box Office is located on the ground floor of the Corn Hall.
