The historic Market Place in Halesworth will be returning to its Medieval origins when it holds its first specialist Food & Drink Market on Saturday 30th September.  The Market will run from 9:30- 3:30 and will showcase local food & drink producers from around the region many of them award winners. The market provides the opportunity to meet local producers and sample their products.

Why not make a day of it –  Halesworth  is a beautiful market town that has managed to keep its charm and has much to offer  visitors  with seven antique and vintage shops and many other independent retailers as well as some great food and drink establishments.

The Market will mark the start of the Waveney Food & Drink Festival and will gives local producers the chance to meet and greet customers and talk about their produce.  With lots of free samples its the perfect opportunity to try before you buy.

Halesworth is a charming market town, 9 miles from Southwold and the stunning Suffolk Coast. Surrounded by beautiful countryside and delightful villages, the town prides itself on a flourishing blend of the arts, locally produced food, wines and small independent shops.
